We wanted to thank Take us to Thailand for creating our dream paradise wedding. Although we had been to Thailand several times, we had no idea where to begin. We only knew that we wanted to have it on Koh Samui. We found them on the internet one afternoon in our attempt to try and organise this wedding on our own, and we don’t know what we would have done if it were not for them.
We had our wedding at the most luxurious, stylish and private villa that made even my mother cry with excitement. That is not an easy feat, as she would never have ventured abroad in the first place if it weren’t for this wedding. We truly felt like movie stars on holidays. The views were breath taking. The staff and chefs at the villa provided us with exceptional service and were most welcoming. As mentioned we have both travelled to Thailand and Koh Samui a number of times, but we have never seen and stayed in such a wonderful place as our villa.
Travelling with both parents, our sisters and their partners, along with the kids and our 1 year old son, in theory, would have been a nightmare, but the detail in the planning meant it was seamless and stress free. Their knowledge and connections in Thailand are second to none. I don’t think we brought up a single topic/question that the girls could not answer.
The planning process was just as exciting as the wedding. Meeting with them at a bar in Richmond felt like we were meeting up with friends for drinks. As a natural born stress head, my friends still can’t believe how relaxed I was with the preparations.
The actually wedding day was nothing short of perfect. I could not have dreamed it better. Honestly, our guests still talk about our wedding. And for those who could not be there, the 800+ photos that our photographer took, blew them away. The flowers were exquisite. The food was tantalising. The night amazing! My favourite touch was the paper lanterns we lit during the evening, and watching them light up the dark sky. It was truly a romantic night.
Take us to Thailand are angels who organised our dream wedding in such a short time but at no expense to detail. Damien and I, as well as The Almeida’s and The Kenny’s want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your work. Thanks for our new memories.
